POTENCY

PotencyPotency is the Soul’s power to manifest life, wealth and abundance on Earth. For all of recorded human history, the Soul’s potency corresponded to its ability and willingness to use force over matter, i.e. people, nature and stuff, forming and manipulating it according to its will. Yet this way of manifesting has been possible only because sacrifice chained Spirit’s creative powers to the will of the Soul, forcing it to create what the Soul wants with no regard to the impact of such will on itself, others, the environment and life in totality.

Without Spirit sacrifice, the only way a Soul would be able to manifest is by aligning its will with Spirit’s desire for the highest good of all, or in other words, by losing its forcefulness and fulfilling Spirit’s will rather than its own. Thus during the age of Truth, when Spirit ceases its sacrifice to humanity, a Soul’s potency will depend on its wisdom, or its ability to discern Spirit desire, and its power, or its ability to enact its fulfillment unconditionally. Lacking either wisdom or power, the Soul will remain fully impotent in procuring matter, security, food and family.

Male soulmates attain wisdom via the female part of the Soul, i.e. their feelings and desires which are derived from their female soulmate’s experience and nobility. Desire is Spirit’s guidance to the area of lack that the Soul needs to heal, yet it is not a straightforward satisfaction of every need: behind desiring pleasure lies lack of fulfillment, and behind desiring status, power or wealth often a lack of appreciation and purpose. It is the mind’s job to seek Truth behind feelings and urges, and to refuse to sacrifice a true desire for a mere perception of fulfillment.

However, in today’s society men are taught to seek power rather than a connection to Spirit, and women to procure matter for themselves and service for others, exposing themselves to evil and blunting their ability and willingness for sensitivity to Spirit, so necessary for the channeling of wisdom. They also often lack power to fulfill their true desires, settling instead for the soothing of needs and fears at the cost of their connection to Spirit. Their grappling for status, security, beauty and matter pacifies them and flows into the male part of the Soul, supplying it with a perception of self-worth, vitality and potency which is essentially a lie. In other words, every man’s feeling of power and fulfillment is fully supported by his work-horse female soulmate, who replenishes her lack by sacrificing her true desires and her connection to Spirit, creating thereby a false perception of vibration and wellbeing.

Without her sacrifice and supplementing, all factual attainment of matter or power by the man would have no impact on how he feels about himself. Should she stop or be prevented from fixing her situation and inflating her feelings by means of false fulfillments, his emotional stability would crumble as his perception of holding any mind or matter-derived power over his feelings would fully dissipate. Nothing he attempted could help him heal the sudden fall from emotional power into the abyss of fear, need, depression and low self-worth. His reactivity would skyrocket along with his sudden impotence.

The only way to wisdom for the man is to free the woman from slaving to procure power and matter for herself, and enable her to focus on connecting to Spirit and rising in sensitivity to its guidance. He does so by offering his commitment unconditionally, i.e. extend his love and matter to her with no expectation that she should earn it; and keep his commitment iron-clad by curbing his need for pleasure at the cost of her safety, home and abundance. This means that she should be given love and power despite, and not because, of any judgement of worth by the part of the man. Traditional ways in which women earn their keep or prove their worthiness in relationships with men is via beauty, sexual pleasure, nurturing, fertility and domestic upkeep. The ability of the man to curb his entitlement for her to work at fulfilling his needs, and share his matter, commitment and protection unconditionally, constitutes the second factor in the Soul’s potency: power.

The attaining of power is the job of the man. Power is defined as self-worth that is anchored in the sharing of abundance rather than in the consumption of it. Today there is not a single Soul on Earth, apart from God himself, whose self-worth lies in sharing rather than receiving. The army of charity, clergy or medical men who engage in sharing for healing or fixing purposes actually do so to support their self-worth based in receiving appreciation and power, not in sharing. The intent of sharing is true only if it continues in the face of absolute unconditionality and anonymity as well as others’ ingratitude and lack of benefit, and towards all beings, in all situations and under all circumstances, including the cost to self. Barring this, the true intent is one of receiving, a consciousness unexamined by the mind and unburdened by purpose.

When Spirit ends its sacrifice and the Truth of its impotence hits the Soul, its only way out of lack and suffering will be the enabling of wisdom and cultivation of power. Then, men will appreciate women for their ability to channel potential, rather than as means for soothing and boosting their ego aspirations and body comforts. In turn, they themselves will be valued for their courage in fighting evil and their lovingness and nobility in protecting life, rather than their forceful devouring of it in an ape-like grab for domination. This shift in values is the mark of the age of Truth, the age where nobility of Spirit, rather than force over matter, is the determinant of potency, power and abundance.
